 DESIGNING THE PLANS
The photo at right is a sample of a home drawn using a program that gives you a 3D view of your home. This is an important part of a good design, so that you have a very good idea of what your home is going to look like when it's completed. This gives you the ability to perform a virtual walk-through of your home so that you can get a good idea of how the house is going to look and feel, both inside and out.
There are many aids we can use to help us decide how to get started with the plans. Plan books, model homes, consultations with architects, and plans we have already used to build homes are just some of the numerous ways to get started on your home design.
