Ducting for heat and air Decking detail Gutter detail
Showing duct work in place, framing and and lower portion of trusses Decking detail. One of the first things to go on a home seems to be the deck. Because of this, we use pressure treated floor joists and notice the rubber cap on the girder. All to make the deck last a long time. Unlike some conventional decking construction where untreated lumber and capping is not used, shorting the life span of the deck structure. A close up detail of OG gutter. The gutter is seamless and I think a very attractive gutter for this style of home. Next week the roof will be completed and rough wiring is to start.
Solar mounts Installing Solar Panels Showing insulation

Almost forgot this picture. Roof mounts for solar panels are shown

April 29--Installing the solar panels on the home. With energy costs escalating, I highly recommend a solar system for all new homes. This system has eight solar panels. The inverter that the clients installed will handle up to an additional eight solar panels for future expansion..

Rough wiring, top out plumbing, duct work, furnace, insulation and framing have been completed and signed off by the County.

Fiber glass insulation is formaldehyde free and is considered a part of green building. Note that the ceiling between the first floor and second floor is insulated. Decks will be completed after sheet rock is completed.

Sheetrock hanged and taped Bedroom sheetrock taped Kitchen sheetrocked and taped
May 9, 2008 Sheet rocked and taped. This is a photo from the front door towards the living room Continuing into the bedroom. This is the first process of finishing the sheet rock. The joints are taped. Next, a second coat on the joints and all of the places where the sheet rock has been screwed to the studs will be filled. Finally, the texture will be applied to the walls and when dry, sanded. A view of the kitchen. Screws are used to fasten the sheet rock rather then nails preventing problems in the future such as "nail popping".
