Home construction was started on February 19, 2008. Final from the Nevada County Building Department was on July 18, 2008. We completed this home, 2020 square feet in exactly five months. During the final from the County, there were no corrections to be made.

June 2. Putting the finishing touches on the railing for the stairway. All of the doors and trim is in. Had a delay of about a week because our door vendor did not deliver the doors on time. They had six weeks notice, but they said the doors had not arrived from, you guessed it, China. Wish I was making that up, but I'm not. The clients chose a craftsman style wood door. |
Painter is starting to mask off the windows to paint the trim. Tile work to start the week of 16th, when inside painting will be completed on the 18th of June. |
We've caught up, thanks to the painter putting all of his workers on the job. We're on scheduled to finish the home in July. The cabinets are in. The cabinet maker finishes the cabinets at the shop which saves a lot of time. |
